With an extensive background in healthcare and a deep passion for aging, she is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex systems, define their goals, and restore a sense of independence and purpose.

Cathleen began her academic journey at Fairfield University, initially pursuing a degree in Nursing before discovering her calling in the field of Social Work. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology and later earned her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Health and Aging from Rutgers University.

Her professional experience spans several critical care settings, including the intensive care unit, emergency room, and hospice care, where she developed a profound understanding of the medical, emotional, and social aspects of aging. Drawing on this foundation, Cathleen joined Unicity Care Management in 2019 to focus on what she feels most passionate about—helping older adults thrive with dignity and clarity during life’s most challenging transitions.

Highly credentialed in her field, Cathleen holds certifications as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Care Manager Certified (CMC), underscoring her expertise in the complexities of aging and care coordination. She is an active member of the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA), continually advancing her knowledge and advocacy in aging life care.

Cathleen’s work is guided by empathy, knowledge, and the belief that aging gracefully requires both professional competence and genuine connection. Whether supporting families through dementia care, navigating senior living options, addressing guardianship matters, or providing compassionate guidance through end-of-life care and grief processing, she is known for bringing calm, clarity, and confidence to every situation.
